Durham Fire & Ice Festival (February)

Durham Miners Gala (July)
Hosted by the Durham Miners Association (DMA) since 1871, the Gala is the world’s greatest celebration of community, international solidarity, and working class life. It is a unique and inspiring spectacle.
Durham Fringe Festival (July)
The Fringe has experienced remarkable growth since its inception in 2021. The historic city of Durham provides the atmospheric backdrop for the festival, which takes place across a network of venues in the city centre in the last week of July. Performers from across the northeast collate within the city at multiple venues to deliver their latest material.
Hardwick Festival (August)
Glastonbury.. Just more northern! A 3 day weekend event always delivering some big names and ultimate throwbacks. Fantastic weekend for everyone.
